North East Indian Naga necklace of dark blue glass beads

 

This is a rare old authentic (not produced for tourists and worn by naga people) necklace from Nagaland in Northeastern India. Beautiful cobalt blue glass trade beads  are strung with cotton cord . A very stunning necklace to wear.

The closure is a large coin button from India, characteristic of the Naga people's work, necklaces like this are quite difficult to find
